I have been looking for a camera to capture all of the fun that I have planned to have this summer. I’ve actually been trying to decide on which camera to get for over a year now. With this sudden craze of Instagram and everyone enjoying editing their photos using the offered filters of Instagram, I have decided to go the 35mm route and begin my journey with my lady Diana F+ Lomography Camera I purchased from Urban Outfitters. Analog photography is such a surprise and a challenge. Unlike digital photography you can’t view your objects before or after the shot, what you see through the lens is not what you get. That’s what makes it exciting. This day my Lomo-gallery has begun and my apartment walls will become my gallery. Let the summertime fun begin!
good to see u’ve discovered film! there’s a world of vintage film cameras out there that can match the quality of a high end DSLR, for a fraction of the cost.. but i gotta admit, the Diana+ is a lot of fun… probably a lot more fun than ‘serious’ photography! i love my diana too
Yes, I just went through 3 rolls this weekend. I can’t wait to get them developed. I also want to learn how to develop them myself.
im doing a series on developing black n white (and maybe color too) film – 1 part is up, another will be up tonight and the last will be up next week.. otherwise there’s a load of other info to help u get started too
Ok, thanks. I’ll head over there and check it out!
